Paper Daffodil Template

Paper daffodil SVG template for Cricut and similar cutting machines - also possible to cut by hand. Comes in SVG, DXF, EPS and PNG formats.

DIGITAL DOWNLOAD to make a 3D papercraft daffodil - template to make pretty Spring flowers from paper or cardstock.

The daffodil template will make one daffodil with leaves. You will need to supply your own cardstock and other crafting materials, including florists wire and floral wrap (florists tape) to complete the project. Choose your own colour cardstock to change up the design slightly.

I've made my own papercraft daffodils that you see here from a medium-weight cardstock - the daffodils in the photos are made from Sizzix 'Surfacez' textured cardstock - I've also used coloured pencils (optional - and no artistic skills required), embossing tools (optional - you could use a cocktail stick or similar or leave out this step) and a moulding ball and foam mat (optional - you can use something else rounded and hard on a soft surface or shape the petals with your fingers only).

This project is ideal for someone with some crafting experience. If you're a beginner who's up for a challenge, I think you'll enjoy it too.

Using the paper daffodil SVG as-is in Cricut, you will be able to make a daffodil that's approximately 8 - 8.5 cm in diameter (that's a little larger than 3 inches). You can make them larger or smaller as you wish - I wouldn't recommend going too much smaller as the project might get too small and fiddly.

Your results with the files will depend on the type of materials you choose to craft with, your machine, the sharpness of your blade etc. The designs are intricate in nature so may not be well suited to very small-sized projects.
